What types of media do you digitize?
We digitize VHS, Hi8, MiniDV, and Betamax tapes, 8mm and Super 8 film reels, audio cassettes, and photos. If you're not sure whether we can handle a specific format, reach out and we'll let you know.
How do I get started?
Fill out our request form with your contact information, the media types and approximate quantity you have, and your preferred delivery method. We'll follow up with you within 2 business days.
Do I need a customer account?
You don't need an account to submit a request. Once your project is underway, we'll set up portal access so you can view and download your digitized files securely.
How will I receive my digitized files?
You can choose USB drive, DVD, or a secure cloud link through your customer portal. You can select more than one option on the request form if you'd like your files delivered multiple ways.
Will I get my original tapes and film back?
Yes. We digitize your media without altering or damaging the originals, and every physical item you send us is returned to you along with your digital copies.
What if my tape or film is damaged?
We inspect and gently clean media before digitizing it, and we do our best with tapes and film that show their age. That said, some older media has pre-existing damage or degradation that limits picture or sound quality — we'll let you know if we run into anything like that during your project.
Is my media kept private?
Yes. Your digitized files are only accessible through your own customer portal account. If you want to let a family member view a video, you can generate a private share link from the portal — nothing is ever posted publicly.
Can I revoke a video I shared?
Yes. Every share link you create can be reviewed and revoked at any time from your portal. Once revoked, the link stops working immediately.
How much does digitization cost?
Pricing depends on the amount and type of media you're submitting. See our Pricing page for our standard tiers, or request a custom quote for larger institutional projects.
Do you work with institutions, schools, or organizations?
Yes — if you're submitting on behalf of an organization, you can include the institution name on the request form, and we're happy to put together a custom quote for larger collections.
How long does digitization take?
Turnaround time depends on the size of your project. We'll give you a more specific timeframe once we've reviewed your request.
